1997 e-420 brakes

Help! I replace front brake pads and now my pedal is soft and low. Do I need to bleed more?????/

If yours is like the earlier E420's, you can expect the brake pedal to go to the floor upon the first few applications after changing the pads. You have to set the parking brake, start the car and pump the brake pedal about 10 or 15 times after changing pads to re-pressurize the system, even if you don't bleed anything. I have never opened the bleeds just to change the pads.
