I have a 1982 diesel that needs valve adjustment and minor items looked at to make sure everything is okay. I live near Gainesville Fl and wonder if someone has a shop they would recommend?

While there may be other shops listed in the 'good MB shops' archives, if I lived in Gainesville FL I would first check out Steve Brotherton's shop at 1219 S. Main St. Gainesville, FL 32601 USA (352) 377-6604 . Steve contributes here a lot (Stevebfl), has written a number of te3chnical articles, and really seems to know his stuff.

Gainesville FL is one of the few places in the US, that if I broke down, I'd know EXACTLY who to call. Of course, I'm a Seminole and I'd never be anywhere NEAR Gainesville... But I'm married to a Gator!
