Good Guess

I actually don't know what the three missing pieces are...

I like the Alan Key guess. LandYaghtLover...have you looked to see what's in your car?

I'd be interested in knowing what the three missing pieces are...

Nothing, that's how it should look. The large area is just that, a blank area possibly for putting the lugnuts in while you are changing the tire.
One on the left I beieve it is, is for a special socket if you have locking lugnuts. Other one i am not sure but must be a Euro thing, I remember there being a few blank areas in that tool kit.

The one on the RIGHT is for the special locking lugnut socket, the left side looks like it would be the same shape as a locking lugnut, so for a spare??
In the Euro market MB might have sold a spare bulb kit that would fit in the larger area??
Gilly again

From the picture I see there isn't a socket for the lug bolts.

The three tool rolls I have all have interchangable screw driver handle and a flat head and phillips head shaft to fit. I dont see a screwdriver.

The other spaces I'd go with locking lugnut remover and an extra lugnut
