defrost/blower issue
 
boys and girls,

circa 1987 420sel has issues....defrost comes on when it wants to....no set temp....

also, in the morning, when cold, there is a blinking light /clicking noise from the air circulation switch on the acc(the one next to the defrost)...the blinking/clicking will take the blower off line

ideas please...cold in west texas

The system is signaling a short in the aux water pump, heater valve OR one of the sensors.

Try un-plugging the aux water pump or heater valve 1st.
