What other models had this '95 E320 steering wheel?

The cover is torn on mine and before going to the junkyard I need to know what other models would have a wheel that fits? Any chance I would hit the jackpot and find a wooden type for the $14 they get for wheels? I see C-class 94-95 looks the same. Any others?

They'll ask for a U.S. Based Credit Card Number.
(To prove you're one of their customers,No accrual to the card.)

in your example:
MD Mode
MD Mode
Car
scroll down to your model [210055]
go to the appropriate section for the Steering Wheel and find the Part number

#140 460 47 03

using the Search function(IN a NEW EPC)

It'll show all the other (If any) models equipped.

Looks like 60 "Hits" for that wheel

Yes I have the epc. Looks like I'll find one in a 94-95 C-class and other E-class cars. The pick&pulls don't have 129's yet.

W140 S-class will fit also. I have an early 500E wheel fs (300mm) that will fit that airbag as well.

Most any newer wheel will fit too, with some part/ring switching... W210 E55 wheels are nice and easy to find complete.

That one could be sent out for a leather re-wrap cheap enough to...

Cheaper than $14 for a junkyard wheel?

Jim's500E 12-06-2010 09:13 AM

No, prolly not for leather ;)

A $10 'pleather' DIY wrap from Pep boys might be what you are looking for if you want to go that cheap on it.

atikovi 12-06-2010 09:43 AM

Naw, I'll go up to $14 and find a nice original used one.

Be careful about crossing years/models...

The hub config may be different between years.

I know from personal experience the 94-95 W124 wheel has a different casting for wire connections in the hub vs the 93. The clock ring with swap over.

The otherwise identical 93 wheel requires modification to fit 94-95.
