There are 2 bulbs on that inner light...most likely the smaller lower bulb is the problem.

There is even a wiring repair kit available for that if the wiring is damaged.

Broken bulb socket - repair kit available?

The plastic bulb socket on my 99 W210 small low-beam bulb is broken. Is there a replacement connector or harness for it?

What sort of problem do these exhibit? I have a 2000 E320. Neither bulb
illuminates like the original posters car. I do not see any trouble with the wiring or bulbs. I have no power there at the socket.......

Have you checked the fuses on the side of the DASH, they are for ALL of the lights.

Since you get NO power to the electrical connector for the lights.
Either the headlight switch OR wiring between switch & lamp has to be the problem.

No, sadly I have sold all of my 16V's
