Under the hood on the driver's side and next to brake booster. I dont think there is one in the fuse box.

dont see it, what does it look like?

arif, there should be a small black rectangular box atop the left front strut tower. Inside is a strip fuse (30 amp, or possibly 50 amp) that likely has a fine hairline crack across it. Best to loosen the 2 screws and inspect the strip fuse. Old strip fuses tends to crack when they get brittle.

The W140 chassis did NOT have a blower fuse.

Would you like to just post what the problem is?

M.B. DOC, thanks for correcting me. When I looked at a parts website it showed a strip fuse available for a 1993 500SEL so I mistakenly thought it was for the blower motor. I won't make that mistake again.

And I read there was one on the 92-93. Guess not!
