thermo switch location 190E
Can anyone tell me where the thermo cooling fan switch is for a 190E? Also is there a way of testing the switch? Its a 1989 model, a little worse for wear

woz:
If this is like a US 102 engine (2.3) the temp sensor for the aux fan is on top of the cylinder head adjacent to the oil cap. Should have 2 connectors on it, a 1 pin and a 2 pin connector. remove the 2 pin connector and with the key ON the fan should run. if it passes this test, and the engine temp has been observed to pass 110 degrees C without the fan running, then replace this sensor.
