mercedes benz question

hi.. my 1993 300se mercedes w 140 is making some poping noise from the rear end while driving. and even more when acceleration any ideals what i should check for first thank you for the help.

probably the axle. is it on one side and does it sound like something is hitting every time the wheel is making a revolution? or you can check the simple thing first like seeing if you have something stuck to your tired :-0

Sylvester, check the condition of the driveshaft rear flex coupling. Look for cracks and/or tears in the rubber.
