300TE Speaker wire question

I was doing some work on my 300TE and took out a very old telephone setup from the late 80's! So in my zealousness to clean out some wiring, there was a small gauge black wire under the carpet on the drivers side that I thought was something for the phone.

Pulled tight and cut, etc. Moral to this story is now my two left speakers don't work. I have continuity from the fader to both +'s on the speakers. I'm thinking this was the - for both speakers. I am trying to find where the speaker wire for the L rear door speaker enters the car close to the B pillar and where the speaker wire for the L front speaker is easily accessible in the car.

The wiring diagram has the two speaker -'s to meet at a connector called X48G. I'm trying to find that connector, anyone know where it is?

Basically can someone describe the path the wires take from the two left speakers on a TE?
