1995 S420 headlamp retaining clip

Need to replace the Lowbeam bulb (H7) on passenger's side... All okay until I try to remove the retaining clip and then I discover what seems to be Fort Knox.

Any hints on how this is done?

Thanks in advance,

Patrick

Thanks mbdoc! Part 9 in the diagram is the source of my travails... it doesn't seem to want to move easily with finger-power. would I use pliers or a screwdriver, and which end to try to pop?

Thanks again!

Patrick
