2001 210 rear trim and brake light removal

The area around my 210 centre brakelight is very dusty and I will have to remove the trim around the rear speakers and headrests to clean it.
I removed the trim on the rear pillars and the rear seats but the rear trim is still stuck.
Has anyone done this?

Edmund, although I've never examined the center brake light configuration of a 2001 210 car normally there is a tab on either side of the brake light trim piece. Use small flathead screwdrivers, or small plastic wedges, to release both tabs simultaneously and slide the trim piece forward. Once that piece is removed it's obvious how the center brake light assembly comes out so you can access/clean the rear glass in that area.

There should be no need to remove any of the other trim pieces that you mention.

I would disagree, to remove the "hat shelf" the interior trim on the sides and the rear seat backrest has to be removed. I think there are fasteners on the side (under the sail panel trim) that need to be unclipped. And of course the center stop light as mentioned).
If you lay down in the trunk and look under the hat shelf you may also see some clips.

Gilly, youre halfway there. The following need to be removed to remove the rear deck: rear seat and backrest, rear side pillar trim both sides, rear headrests, bootlining next to petrol tank. removal of the headresrests is easier from the boot.
