Larry,

How did you get the 200,000 km badge? I did an extensive search, and what I read said that the first badge comes at 250,000 km. I just passed 125,000 miles (200,000 km), and am curious to know if I can get a badge!

The grill looked like a combination of mega-miles and tailgating gravel trucks. I wondered what the windsheild looked like:p

The first badge used to come at 200K, upped to 250K a little while ago...

Also, no silver badges anymore, all are gold.

I like them just fine, still getting used to them but they do seem brighter than the US lights my 450SL had....I just bought the car from a wholesaler in TX back in DEC and yes the euro lights were already on her when I found her.

She's definitely faster and now mechanically better than the 450SL....had to put about $1800 into her to fix a few mechanical things the PO neglected.

The paint job is not as good as previous car but she's not bad looking.

Another plus is bigger engine but better mileage than my previous 450SL.

blackmercedes,

They changed from the 200,000 to the 250,000 somewhere about 1990 or so. I just happened to get the 200,000 just before they changed, so I happened to fall in a particular time such that I was able to get both.

Have a great day,

I'll have to redo these when I get the springs and shocks on the wife's car
