Manual Transmission Wear Items / Damage Inspection

Howdy All,
I was looking to buy a manual transmission from a 190e. I found one, but I pulled the drain plug and found some garbage on it that concerned me. It moved through all the gears quite easily. ODO says 224k. What do you guys think? And what the he11 is that wire-like object? Please tell me if i should avoid this transmission. |
Wire is from synchronizer ring, spring loaded.
Stay away. Not worth $100 |
