Help: R129 95 SL500
 

1.) light to inst cluster for odometer/trip/outside temp.......... it is a fiber optic bulb like one located _______________(where) to replace so those LCD's will be lighted or what to do?

2.) Check engine light comes on. Does this have to be reset by or via computer code at Merc shop?

Check engine lights are reset by fixing the problem that caused the light.

#2: check at a given interval such as some USA cars that come on automatically @60K - does it turn on at an increment?

No, on that car the check engine lamp means you have an issue with the emission system.

Have you a suggestion on item #1?

On item #2: does it have to be reset or does it go off by itself once fault is corrected?

On item #1 - bulb replacement for odometer outside temp trip; where is buld and it is fiber optics?

Need lights.

Light on outside temp gauge is a "soldered in" bulb. Not available from MB
