2001 e320 wagon good deal?
I found a 2001 awd fully loaded e320 wagon with 160,000 miles is 5800 a good price. No body damage just miles on the car but about 15k a year is ok.Just don't know the reliability of these.

Dog, check for service records and have a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) done by a MB-trained tech who knows that vintage MB automobile. The tech will advise you of any pending expensive repairs and if the 2001 E320 wagon was maintained properly. It won't matter how much you pay for it if you end up spending thousands of dollars due to neglected maintenance.

The price is irrelevant, as anything under $10K for a car is about the same as free.
What's important is the condition of the car and whether it will provide you trouble-free motoring and at least be cosmetically good enough to keep you happy. The "reliability" is about the same as any 10-year-old car, i.e. some things are worn out and require replacement. Nice if the service records show some recent maintenance, and by that I do NOT mean oil changes.
