General Part Number Question
Does anyone know if the numerical part of the a MB part number is always unique to the same part, regardless of the prefix? e.g., would the part number HWA-124-880-05-40 always specify the AMG front bumper, regardless if preceded by the "HWA"? Or would 1248800540 specify a different part?

Yes, adding THAT prefix makes the part AMG specific.
And yes, there could be another MB part w/o prefix that was different. OOps |
