smog check and collapsed motor mounts?

Greetings,

Would collapsed motor mounts prevent me from getting a smog check?
In other words, must I first fix the motor mounts before the smog establishment can check the smog check? would vibration impact the test?

I am currently under extreme and very tight budget (to live on) so need to get by with the least amount of cost / no cost.

Recently the car has started to vibrate when starting (most noticeable when parked - and cold). I was told a while back that the mounts had/or were collapsing.. my guess is they have fully collapsed, just as I have managed to save for the smog (yep, times are hard).

So, If i take the car to get smogged (need to do an oil change too), would the mounts / shake disqualify it from from futher testing? (part of visual test?)

Thanks,

No, motor mounts have nothing to do with an emission test.
However if the engine is missing as well??

If you are changing the oil regularly no need to change it before for a smog check. I doubt whether the average technician could tell if the mounts were collapsed. Also motor mount vibration tends to disappear when in neutral/park (condition for testing). If you are getting a vibration in neutral when warm maybe other issues as suggested?
