1998 W202 Rear Wheel bearing

Hello,

I need info on how to replace the rear wheel bearings in my C230. I tired the search function and couldnt get a clear answer. Is there some sort of DIY on this forum for the wheel bearings? Any help is appreciated.

thanks in advance

The rear wheel bearings are a fairly involved project, it involves breaking loose the rear axle nut removing the wheel carrier assembly. Beating the old bearing out and having the new one pressed in with a large hydraulic press. The front wheel bearings are easy by comparison, and take approx 30min a side if you know what your doing. This job is essentially the same on your car as it is any W124,W201, W126, etc, etc. So keep that in mind during your searches.
