1997 S500- Clicking Noise w/ AC Compressor On
 
I have a clicking noise only at idle and only when the AC compressor is on. The compressor works fine and the belts seem tight. Is there some type of emission "purge valve" which goes on when the compressor is on? Solenoid operated?
