"1993 124 300e (3.2L) Radiator Elbow Fitting"
I am needing to replace the fitting for hose that runs to expansion tank. I already have part, i just don't want to break anything when removing the old one. Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated.

Remove the top hose so you can catch what breaks off when you pull out the old one - better not to have such debris in your radiator.

do I pry it up, or try to squeeze with pliers, etc.

Either one. You could try pulling up while pushing up from the bottom too - might get it to come out whole, usually they break apart because they are already cracked.

Thanks for the info, i barely even touched the fitting and the inside part fell inside the radiator while I was taking the hose off fitting, so now i have to take out radiator in a.m. Thanks again.....

I've driven for years with half an elbow in the radiator with no apparent ill effects, and I suspect others have as well, which of course is no guarantee of anything.
