Location of stop light switch in 1994 E420
 

Does anyone know where the stop light switch is located on a 1994 E420, and what needs to be done to replace it? Sorry in advance for being such a novice. I plan on ordering one on Monday from Partshop on the advice of Benzmac, but haven't the first clue about how to swap it. Thanks in advance.

Well it would be in the "normal" location for most any car, under the dash above the brake pedal, nothing really unusual. Take the cover off under the dash, look at the brake pedal, follow the arm the brake pedal attaches to up under the dash, look for a switch that contacts that arm.
