MAP Sensor

Does a 1996 C280 have a MAP sensor? Or only a MAF? If yes, where is it located?

I believe it is on the fender located under the washer bottle, if memory serves me correctly.

Thanks, I will check. Couldn't tell from EPCNet if it was from only from 1997 on. Parts companies online do list a MAP sensor from 1994-2000.

I'm pretty sure there is a map sensor in your car. The DM uses it to perform realtime diagnostics.

Correct, the MAP sensor is beneath the W/S washer reservoir & is used to monitor several different emission functions like; variable timing, EGR, and purge system.
