124 Single Windshield Wiper Transmission Gears
Hi guys,
Not sure I got the name correct, perhaps why I could not find much with a search. My wiper got stuck in the middle of the windshield so I pulled the whole thing apart. There is a two part plastic semi circular row of gears mounted to the aluminum assembly with six screws and two metal crescent retainers. Those two plastic pieces are now in over a dozen brittle greasy pieces in the trash. Any idea where to get those "gears"? Thanks |

You suppose they will allow me to take it apart to check the plastic gears? I figured that was asking too much.

If you can find an 86, it will have a metal gear, though the arm is a bit different and will need a wiper blade for an 86 as well.

Thanks for the tip duxthe1.
As already stated, just get a complete assembly from the boneyard adn replace the whole thing. I always try to keep a good working set up for a spare. |
replacement white plastic wiper gear
Also, PerformanceProducts dot com sells that white plastic wiper gear as a part for $100. Part # 86-109.
They say it's works for 124-820-23-07, 124-820-25-07, 001-820-12-07, and 201-820-07-07 wipers. |
Thanks for the link. $100 ?!?!?!
Has anyone ordered this piece? It says it ships straight from the manufacturer. Anyone know who that might be? Seems to be produced in Virginia. Ideas? Warranty? |
It's all back together and running well again. I will do a write-up in a new topic. "Monowiper Rebuild"
