High Idle
Alright so i think i have a high idle, im not sure though, but it has all the symptoms of it, here they are: When switching to reverse car is forced back very hard, same in drive, slows down when i let go of the accelerator when going fast, and of course the RPM gauge says somewhere around 700-800 which is high....So how do i lower the idle, should i take it to a shop?
Thank You for your responses.... |

SOunds like the idle speed is normal. If you are experiencing harsh engagement its probably a transmission issue.

I asked my dad about it and he said it was the rear axle and it would be around a $180 job, or something like that...Could that be it??
Thank You |
