HIDs and SRS light!!!!
 

Hello
Anybody know the reason why my SRS lights up when i turn the headlights on (hids installed..no problem before that.
Anything to correct this problem?

If you un-plug the headlights OR remove the fuses for the lights does the SRS lamp still come on?

Hi Doc
The srs light will only come on when the switch os put on and otherwise its all good.
I will try to unplug in the morning to check but i am pretty sure it will not come on with the switch in the off position.

I dont mean to scare you but my car burned after installing HIDS on(8000k hids no good for the stock wiring harness I guess) 1990 560SEC, insurance estimated the damages for $5.200USD I was lucky everything was repaired I didnt pay not even a penny.

Maybe the bulb out and SRS light sockets were put in the wrong way around?

55W HID's won't burn stock harness. The bulb color makes no difference, its the wattage/amp draw of the ballast.
