hydropneumatic suspension

can anybody tell me what is the best hydraulic oil that can be used with the mercedes 450 sel 6.9 hydropneumatic suspension. My car manual book states hydraulic oil only. To buy this oil from mb probably would cost quite a lot. maybe my local parts supplier might stock something as good

if its the same oil that goes into the SLS system as the 126/123s and pretty much any other SLS equipped MB...

That will do you just fine. I cant remember system capacities...just make sure you're not leaking anything before starting otherwise you'll just waste the fluid.

Hope this helps.

Mercedes Benz A000 989 91 03 10. It's only about $8 a quart. Doesn't take much, so it's not worth chancing using anything else.
