AC work on 210 chassis
2 Attachment(s)
Got a '99 E300D that has a refrigerant leak. See attached photo. The only leak appears to be the lower hose - that green stuff you see is the UV dye. So if I'm getting into this work, what else should I do? I plan to replace the hose as well as the seals for that hose and the receiver/drier. Should I mess with any other seals or anything else while I've got the system open? Is this a reasonable DIY job? I'd farm it out to vacuum the system and refill it. Other than that I'd hope to DIY.
