107 sub frame mounts...
I had my front wheels off on my 1979 450SLC and discovered that the sub frame mounts (I think that's what they're called) are deteriorated and need to be replaced. Can anyone give me instructions and help walk me through this repair?
Thank you,

I did the sub frame mounts on the 108 and documented the how to in the DIY section. The 107 mounts are different, and have two per side unlike the single mounts on the 108, but the procedure is similar.
The 107 mounts are appear to be smaller, so it is possible they will require less prying to get out. The replacement of the mounts is within the abilities of a somewhat experienced DIYer. Perhaps some of the 107 crowd can give you some model specific pointers. And for a pair of round trip tickets to the Island, I'll be glad to bring my tools and lend a hand .
