does anyone know why an eha causes the engine to misfire ,pop and have an extreme loss of power, also making the engine rev and not wanna allow the tranny to shift, but when i disconnect it,the engine runs perfect and tranny shifts great, but it will not start in cold weather without the eha connected,im baffled, ive already wasted 3 hours diag time with a so called mercedes specialist. im about to wire in a micro switch so i can turn it on and off.

take it someplace else. the car is running lean and the eha may be following the orders from the ecu and may not be at fault. good luck, chuck.
