W210 low tone horn location help

I found a few sources that indicate the low tone horn on a 2001 W210 sedan is behind the passenger side head light somewhere. Does anyone have a diagram of where it is and how to remove it or specific directions on how to get at it?

That sounds right, but really hard to see. I guess you'd say it's under the right headlight, actually under the radiator support. IIRC it's easiest to get at by removing that plastic "apron" under the front bumper.

Thanks Gilly,

I haven't had time to tackle the horn replacement yet but will report back after I find it and complete the job.

Worked on the horn replacement this morning. I did have to take off the apron under the front bumper to get to the horn. You can't even see it from on top. Luckily I had a 13mm GearWrench ratchet box end wrench. The bolt attaching the horn is on top of the brace piece and in very tight quarters. When I installed the new horn, I just mounted the horn strap and bolt from the bottom so it was easier to work with. If it works loose for some reason I'll just put a little locktite on it the next time I have the car on a rack.

This is a poor design by Mercedes since the horn location causes it to get a lot of water resulting in failure. A photo taken from underneath after the new horn was installed is attached.
