107 Window switch...
Aloha,
The drivers side window switch for my 1979 450SLC went out. My old one is a California model with lockout. Can I replace it with a California model without lockout, if I'm willing to do without that feature? Or are there electrical wiring specifications which require that the replacement be exact? I see both available in FastLane. Thanks for the help, Ray

any ideas?...
I bought a new driver's side switch with lockout and replaced the old switch, but the windows still don't operate (front and back) Here's what I've done to test it:
1. Plug the driver's plug into the passenger's side switch - the window works. 2. Plug the passenger's side plug into the new driver's side switch - it doesn't work. I'm almost certain the new swich is good. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks in advance for your help,
