98 210 water pump gasket
Hello everyone,
I am replacing the water pump and it came with the rubber o ring and a regular gasket. Do I use both or just the rubber o ring? Thanks Dan |

I left out that the car has the o ring in it now, but the pump came with both and I'm didn't know if this is an update or there are two different pumps. the gasket fits the pump fine and I'm not sure about using both

If it had an o-ring, use the o-ring. That pump fits lots of models so they are shipped to cover all options.

I used the o ring on my replacement water pump and it seems to be fine.
