What is the difference between a Air steering wheel and a non-airbag steering?

other than the fact it has no airbag, I would like to know because I have an airbag on the car now, and if I buy a steering wheel that originally had no airbag, will it still bolt up? any help ?

I think it would bolt up, but what would you do about the air bag and connection? I don't think the non-airbag wheel has any way to mount the air bag. Without an air bag, how would you defeat the SRS warnings when the system does not register the bag?

the car has an airbag, but the steering wheel is falling apart, I was looking around and have only found non-airbag steering wheels, thats why I wanted to know, if their is some difference

Non of the salvage yards in your area have any air bag steering wheels? You could try M&M Salvage 1-800-429-7278 (Nationwide Watts line, company in Fontana, CA), ask for Chad, tell him I referred you. They have several airbag equipped MB vehicles, and should be able to ship (they don't ship glass though).

You might have to replace the slip rings when doing a wheel change (I did), but it is not a difficult job, very simple in fact. Parts are about $74.00 at Fastlane and take about 30 minutes to install.
