patient 1987 420sel

symptom --- no spark

1. initial t/s led to coil replacement

still no spark

2. replaced 10A fuse in OVP
3. Cleaned all relay contacts
4. 12vfc on both sides of coil as it should be
5. measured 11-1200 ohms at cps cable
6. disconnected cables at bottom of EZL and still had 12 vdc at coil?

going to measure ac at cps cable.

brand new cps cable came in today will hopefully have it installed soon

Since you have power & ground to EZL, a good signal from CPS, the EZL must create dwell signal to the negative side of the coil.

If no dwell signal..then the EZL must be at fault.
