Head Gasket in M104 in 96 E320?
 
Hello

I am looking at 210 E320s. I am wondering if the M104 head gasket problems were solved by 96 or 97. Should I be looking at a 98 with a V6 instead of a M104?

When I had the head gasket replaced in my 93 104 engine just about a year ago, I asked the mechanic at the dealer if this was an upgraded head gasket so it would not happen again. He laughed. Does that answer the question?
