1990 300e vacuum question

While changing my o2 sensor, I took a look under the hood and found a hard vacuum line that had, apparently, been melted in two. It is a clear line with a blue stripe and it comes from the fender behind the passenger headlight. No way to take a good picture, but I'm sure that someone with this car knows what line it is and where it goes to from the fender.
Anyone?

There are two switchover valves behind the headlight. One is for the EGR valve, and the other is the airpump diverter valve. One line should have a 1" round restrictor in the line going away from the switchover valve, that one is the EGR valve. Don't confuse the restrictor with the check valve on the vacuum feed line. The check valve should be blue and feed both switchover valves, the restrictor should be green going to the EGR valve.

Thanks for the reply. Would you have any pictures showing where and how the blue line attaches at the other end (away from the switchover valve)?

Sorry I don't have any pics When I did the turbo install, I relocated my switchover valves to beside the battery and re-did the vacuum lines with unmarked replacement line, so any pics of mine wouldn't do you any good. That said, the line with the blue check valve should connect to a nipple on the intake manifold, route under the distributor cap, and over to the switchover valves.

Thanks for the help. So then, it should be fairly obvious where it attaches on the intake? I assume to a rubber connector same as on the other end.
