Windshield Wiper Fluid not working right
 

Everything was fine until I got my car painted. When I tried to use the wiper fluid only the squirt on the passenger comes out 10% power and 0% on the drivers side. When I lifted the hood and turned the wiper pump on again, I noticed water pouring out of the passerger corner of the hood (see photo - it come out that corner). So the hose that connects the squirts from the reservoir must either be leaking or disconnected slightly (hence water flowing from inside the hood down to the corner), but it is hard for me to tell what the problem is because everything seems to be inside the hood hard to reach.

Does anyone understand how the hose is connected underneath there ti the two jets and how to get at it? Thanks.

I had the same problem on my C280 once. There was splitter where the one hose from the reservoir splits into two and each goes to each nozzle. The hose came off the connection fitting and fluid went everywhere.

On the C280, there was an access panel in the hood right where the connections were, so it was very easy to get to. Sorry, I don't know how to access the hose on your specific model. I hope someone else can help.

Does anyone have experience with this on the 126 body style? Having a hard time viewing the hose(s) inside the hood.

Not sure about the 126 configuration but it should be same or similar to the 124 setup. This is a picture of the left nozzle housing; the right nozzle housing is just off the picture. This housing is plastic and it unclips (be careful of brittle plastic clips!) to give you access to the nozzles.

Put your hood in the 90 degree position and get a pin from a sewing kit and clean out the nozzles with that. If that doens't do the trick then also use your mouth to blow thru the nozzle to clean out any dirt or whatever may be clogging it.

I had this same problem and it was due to blue residue buildup from the wiper cleaner I was using. Now I just use plain water.

Sorry, can't help either...
but thought I'd say that I had the same problem on my C280 too! It happened when I was in Arizona, in 100 + degree weather... I wonder if that had anything to do with it...
Anyways, my car has the access panels that pop off, and that is how I was able to fix it.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I will try again to access the hoses inside. I don't think there is a problem with the nozzles. but will try to clear them out to ensure. I guess it is possible that the nozzles are clogged and that is what is causing the water to leak inside, down to the passenger side corner. I was thinking that maybe the hose(s) were somehow disconnected inside, but I guess you are telling me that a clogged nozzle could cause it to leak internally. I guess the pump has to pump the water somewhere.
