trouble starting my 380 slc after its warmed up

My 380 SLC starts with no problems when the engine is cold. If i were to shut it off and try and start it within the next 10 mins or so it fires right up, but if it sits for longer than that it won't start until it completly cools down again. What could possibly be the problem. Thanks,
-Aaron
