So even with the system running you had some nasty fluid in there? I really need to do this project. I only get a smooth ride with about 300lbs in the trunk. And my pump is leaking bad. I think I may replace the forward lines. Or have them made for me (another thread gives specifications on this). And also replace as much in the back as I can. This car is a very rough ride.

Thankfully, there's only 2.1 quarts in the system, and about half is held in the reservoir, so I just used a pump. It is absolutely gross though; wish I had utilized the bleeder screw...

I couldn't tell you about the front end, but I'm fairly intimate with the rear

hoses for the shocks are $90 bucks total, but I don't see how to connect them without dropping the shock. Just a banjo bolt I'm positive they don't leak anyways, as my fluid level hasn't changed a bit since I've filled it after the accumulators went.

I've read a bit on the bump stops for the rear shocks too, but those seem to be accessible from under the seats, so I'll wait until I see how it rides with new fluid and accumulators.
