Sunroof motor help needed W124
 

I need to remove my non working sunroof motor on my 87 300TD... But I haven't been able to figure out how to release the cable tubes from the motor assembly. Try as I might, I just can't seem to see (or feel) how to remove the guide tubes. I'm confident I can remove the motor once I have the rear tube off, but for now I am just frustrated. Can anybody tell me the secret?

The inner cable has to be removed first, then you simply slide the guide tube away from the channel at the motor.
