EGR Vacuum Line

Hello to all!

I was changing a leaky valve cover gasket on my 1991 300E 3.0L over the weekend when I discovered a vacuum line that was not attached to anything and just tucked away by someone (not me).

Assuming the flying saucer shaped thing sitting on top of my exhaust manifold is my EGR valve, where does the vacuum line coming out of it attach to? Please be specific as I'm a novice to this whole DIY thing.

Nick

It should loop down to the passenger side front and connect into a vacuum crossover there. It will probably connect onto the only open line there.
