 I don't think there's anything to adjust. There's certainly no periodic adjustment required during normal operation. Sixto 91 300SE 81 300SD |

Well, Sixto is right about no periodic adjusting while running, but I have seen a procedure in the CD Rom manual, with a go/no go gauge used to set the height. I believe the shims under the rocker arm above the valve are used to properly set them. Send me an e mail, and I can send you the *.pdf file from the manual. Should be in my manual, I think it goes from 81 to 91. Regards John |

There is an adjustment that needs to be checked. It does require the use of a special Mercedes Tool and a book to help you read it. If it is out of spec, you will have to replace the pucks that are on top of the valves with thicker or thinner ones. |

 The procedure Donnie describes is in section 05-213. Sixto 91 300SE 81 300SD |

There is no valve adjustment required |

There's no valve adjustment required per se, but there is an initial check of the relationship of the rocker and lash adjuster. the adjustment is made by using a different height vavle stem cap, for lack of the right word. Sixto 91 300SE 81 300SD |
