W124 differential backlash adjustment

How hard is it to adjust the backlash on an '89 300CE? I have a bit of clanging when engaging reverse or when applying throttle at low speeds that sounds like it is coming from the diff.

It is most likely the flex disk.

Subframe mounts / Diff mounts if flex disk is fine.

I guess the rear flex disk? How hard to change out?
