Euro Parts Source
Hi Folks,
First, I'm not suggesting that you use this as an alternative to the good folks at FastLane! However, I've noticed a few people looking for unique parts (trim, euro lenses etc. ) for grey imports etc. If you can't get them on FastLane you could try Euro Car Parts in the UK at http://www.eurocarparts.co.uk They stock OE and alternative parts, you can order online and they ship worldwide. I've used them for Merc, Saab and Renault parts and never had any cause for complaint. |
IGA, do you play in a band called Jethro Tull?;)

Cap'n Carageous
I wish I did! Sometimes I think you need royalty cheques to keep a 15 year old Merc on the road :D |
Alright so i might need a new radiator, so i checked that place out. It says for a new radiator it cost $124euro/$106us...How is that right? Fastlane a new one cost close to $300us...Tell me if im missing something, or if the converter to US dollars is wrong.
Thanks :D :D |
That's probably the price...but wait till they tack on the shipping:eek:

The price and conversion check out, but as Yal says there is shipping on top. It might not be comparing like with like either, the rad listed on Eurocarparts for an 87 300E is BEHR, this could be a pattern not an OE supplier .

I use these guys all the time, they are really good.
Last year I replaced the radiator on an 87 W124 2 litre. It wasn't an original , but cam in a Magnetti Marelli box. It seemed as new, but was obviously reconditioned. Worked fine, looked great. Only difference I could see was the the Beru name on the header tank was ground off. It was £100. About $140 I guess. |
