Brake Torquing
 

Alright, i read about this but i can't find any good directions on how to do it. Can someone help me out, starting in 2nd gear sucks when racing.

If you put your car in "2" when at rest, I believe 1st gear is engaged. Simply put your left foot on the brake, and slowly apply the accelerator until you reach your desired rpm. Lift of the brake and simultaneously smash the loud pedal, and you're off!

Don't forget to shift to "3" if you want your car to actually shift into second gear. If you like, once the upshift takes place you can shift back to "2" and control when the 2-3 upshift takes place.

that sounds somewhat damaging to the tranny...:rolleyes:, what i got from another posting if i understood it right, you apply the brake and also rev the engine and the strain shifts it into 1st.

Someone tell me if im right, or if i have no clue what im talking about
