Contragulations Husky - you did it again!
 

After much arm wrestling, the new brake light switch is installed and WORKING! I'm not sure what the extra two metal pins are for, but it doesn't seem to be interfering with the function of the brake lights.

Now, there is a small diameter black cord coming out from the console next to the radio and stretches across and appears to be traveling up to the left front speaker. I'm guessing this is a speaker cable - anyone know for sure what this long black cord might be?
