alarm system

I left my car door open (not fully closed) twice and now my allarm needs reseting. Please can somebody give me instructions as how to reset my alarm?

WHAT year & what model???
MB alarms don't need reset. Locking & unlocking the door will turn the alarm system off & or on.

I have a "E 420" - 1995 is that true for mine too??
