Happy New Year

Yesterday bought a 2007 C230 Sport I Just wondering what fuel is best to run. Considering power and MPG. Now its on premium.

What does your owners' manual say? If the car isn't designed for E85 you can't use it.

In any event, premium would give you better performance and economy. E85 does not have as much energy per liter.

Good luck and happy new year.

Thanks for reply
No owners manual in glove box, Dealer will order one. I read it on the gas flap saying Premium or E85 only.I changed the oil and filter when I got home but hove no idea how to acces the service indicator until I get the Manual. Dealer said it was changed but I don't trust them since it was a Chevy Dealer cheap oil.

You might check the MBUSA website, they have some of the newer model manuals in pdf form that you can review or download.

New car, new year. Congrats and good luck.

E85 will usually produce more horsepower but at a high consumption rate if the vehicle is setup for it. Its about 110 octane.

Premium. Mileage is better, it puts less wear on your engine, and it doesn't attract water like ethanol. There are tons of problems with ethanol. Just google "ethanol fuel problems".
