'89 300TE wagon, battery drain problem

Hey guys, I have an '89 W124 gas wagon. The past 2 nights the battery has drained down to absolutely nothing. There are no lights on, key is off and out, double checked everything again last night when I locked it up.

The connections on the battery are clean and tight

Any ideas??? I Dont hear anything running either...

Have ground(-) battery cable off. Test light to ground on car and neg battery terminal. Light is lit indicating a drain. I have removed ALL fuses and still showing drain....no difference at all....WTH??

It seems like they want you to "Search this Forum" for battery drain. And you know how "they" are.

Yeah I tried...everything had to do with a slow draw...this kills a fully charged good battery in 12 hours.

I think I may have narrowed it down.I heard a click as I hooked neg cable back up. It was the relay 'A', looks like for power seats. Im testing my draw now with fingers crossed.

Yea, I've heard of the vacuum for locks and also the security system causing this type of problem as well. You would think that pulling the fuses would have stopped it, but with the relays right behind them you may have found it.

Probably just one component messed up if it just started this. Once disconnected, no more draw. Not sure if the TE is like the E with the vacuum under the right mid seat (right back seat in the E), but if so then remove and disconnect.

Then there is the stuff in the rear hatch, good luck with that.
